The lining of CANDY is made of Nestle jersey, which is 40% more stretchy than regular jersey material, and you will be amazed at how fluffy, soft and comfortable it is to the touch.
CANDY allows you to choose the thickness of the wetsuit (2mm or 3mm) and whether or not to have finger holes in the sleeves according to your request! UMMY × Mellow Side Story
The wetsuits had actually been in the planning stages since 2022, before UMMY was launched, and it took about three years to get them on sale. UMMY does not have its own manufacturing facility, so it has had to negotiate, plan, and develop with many wetsuit manufacturers, and has been struggling to produce wetsuits that will impress customers. In the midst of all this, UMMY fell in love at first sight with the innovative design of the wetsuits made by surfing brand Mellow, and sent a love call from UMMY, which was the beginning of their encounter.
The strengths of Mellow's wetsuits are their high cost performance, reliable quality, and innovative and stylish designs that have never been seen before in the freediving industry. Above all, UMMY was impressed by the flexible, energetic and passionate attitude of Mellow's CEO, and decided to partner with the company. By combining UMMY's execution power to meet customer needs with Mellow's technical capabilities, we were able to create wetsuits that impress our customers.
January to August: about one month
From September to December, it will take about one and a half to two months. We recommend that you order early to allow plenty of time.
Each part has a handwritten identification number on the lining, which will fade with use.
It may be possible to adjust the size. Please let us know which part needs to be adjusted and by how many centimeters. (Additional charges apply)
There is an UMMY office on the main island of Okinawa where you can try on items and check the fabric colors in person. Reservations are required, so please contact us if you are interested.
