About freediving masks (streamline, beach, reef)
Yes, it is a free size and unisex item, so it can be used by both men and women.
Glass lenses and plastic lenses have different characteristics, but the main difference is that glass lenses are flat and plastic lenses are curved. Due to this difference, curved lenses are less resistant to water, making them ideal for deep skin diving such as free diving and skin diving. On the other hand, glass lenses are more resistant to water, so this mask is suitable for skin diving in shallow waters, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Flat lenses also have less distortion of the field of view, making them suitable for spearfishing and spearfishing. For more information, please see the following.

Generally, masks with glass lenses are rubbed with toothpaste to remove the oil film before use, but UMMY's Streamline, Beach, and Reef have plastic lenses, so rubbing them can scratch the lenses, making it difficult to see, or even cause the lenses to become cloudy. Please never rub the lenses. Use them as is without rubbing them.

Freediving masks are designed to be lighter than scuba diving masks, so they are not as strong as scuba diving masks. Therefore, please refrain from using them while scuba diving.
The mask strap may be too tight. Tightening the mask strap loosely will make it easier to fit underwater and prevent water from getting in. Also, try out the position of the strap several times to find the one that fits you best.
Once you remove the lens, you will not be able to put it back in, so please do not remove it.
Once the lens is removed, it cannot be put back in.
We do not sell lenses alone.
Once a lens is scratched, it cannot be repaired. Therefore, please read the following precautions and handle the lens with care.
Plastic lenses are characterized by being very light compared to glass lenses, and because they are curved to reduce water resistance, they have excellent design. On the other hand, because they are made of plastic, they are very susceptible to scratches. Even just touching the lens directly with your fingers can cause scratches. Be sure to store them in a case, read the examples below, and handle them with care.

Streamline and Reef are anti-fog treated, so anti-fog is not necessary. When the mask gets wet, the inner lens of the mask may feel slippery due to the coating. (Please do not touch the lens directly. Anti-fog is required for Beach.)
In rare cases, using a mild detergent or a strong anti-fog agent made overseas may cause the anti-fog coating to peel off. Please refrain from using detergents or strong anti-fog agents.
The effectiveness of the anti-fog coating may decrease with the frequency of use of the mask. In that case, please use an anti-fog product.
* We cannot provide compensation if the lens is scratched or the anti-fog coating is peeled off due to customer carelessness. * We do not accept replacement of lenses only.
