CANDY's lining uses Nessle jersey. About 40% stretchier than ordinary jersey, you'll surely be amazed by its fluffy softness, smooth touch and superb comfort.
CANDY can be tailored to your needs: choose the wetsuit thickness (2mm or 3mm), with or without sleeve thumb holes, and, for those who want more coverage, one of 3 hip cuts! UMMY × Mellow Side Story
UMMY had actually been planning wetsuits since 2022, before the brand launched, and it took about 3 years to bring them to market. Without its own factory, UMMY negotiated, planned and developed with many wetsuit makers, spending day after day frustrated that it couldn't create a wetsuit that would truly impress customers. Then UMMY fell in love at first sight with the innovative design of wetsuits made by the surf brand Mellow and reached out to them — and that was the beginning of it all.
Mellow's wetsuits stand out for their cost performance and reliable Made in Japan quality, along with innovative, stylish designs never before seen in the freediving industry. Above all, UMMY was moved by the flexible, energetic and passionate attitude of Mellow's founder, and decided to form a partnership. By combining UMMY's ability to deliver on customer needs with Mellow's craftsmanship, we were able to create wetsuits that truly impress our customers.
January–August: about 1 month
September–December: about 1.5 to 2 months. We recommend ordering early to allow plenty of time.
Identification numbers are handwritten on each part of the lining. They fade with use.
Size alterations may be possible. Please let us know which part needs adjusting and by how many centimeters. (Paid service)
UMMY has an office on the main island of Okinawa where you can try on and see fabric colors in person. Visits are by appointment only, so please contact us if you're interested.
