Introducing the New UMMY ONE, evolved even further
New UMMY ONE
Keeping the UMMY ONE’s “remarkable agility from its ultra-light weight (approx. 400 g)” and its “supple propulsion that catches the water efficiently,” a further evolved carbon fin is born.
▪ FUNCTION
We redesigned the blade shape and the layering of the carbon plies.
This allows an even smoother, flowing fin kick with no wasted effort.
▪ DESIGN
New colors “Red” and “Green” join the lineup. A beautiful two-tone with white, plus a redesigned logo on the reverse side for a more refined look. We also updated the visual approach at the base of the blade, so that with the same overall length your legs look longer and more elegant underwater.
UMMY ONE Side Story
Meeting Prussian Blue
The UMMY carbon fin took a full two years from concept to launch, with dozens of sets of sample fins along the way. As UMMY has no factory of its own, we negotiated, planned and developed with fin makers around the world, until we finally had a fateful encounter with Prussian Blue, a top fin maker from Taiwan.
Technology × Execution
The proven quality of Prussian Blue’s fins, the innovation of the foot pocket they developed, and above all their willingness to flexibly meet UMMY’s high demands were the deciding factors that led UMMY to form a strategic partnership with them. It was the moment we became convinced that combining UMMY’s ability to deliver on customer needs with Prussian Blue’s technology would create the best fins possible.
The fin UMMY made a reality
UMMY aims for a fin that satisfies every diver who loves breath-hold diving, whether freediver, skin diver or spearfisher. To make this real, we spent a year of trial and error, rethinking design, color variations, functionality, foot pocket and price from scratch, and succeeded in developing a fin that UMMY’s owner is personally proud of.
The origin of the name UMMY ONE
“ONE” is a word of beginnings, meaning starting from scratch, and also “number one,” meaning the summit, the very top. The name UMMY ONE carries our determination to always remember our very first step as we push forward, and our ambition to become the most loved fin in the world.
What makes UMMY ONE special
When it comes to fins, lighter is better. While even the lightest carbon fins have weighed around 600 g per foot, UMMY ONE weighs only about 400 g. Saving about 200 g greatly reduces the strain on the diver. You will feel the difference in skin diving, freediving training and every kick in freediving competitions. Pick them up and you will be amazed by how light they are. And thanks to a special treatment of the foot pocket, the fins now float, so there is no more worry about losing them to the sea.
UMMY ONE’s carbon is laminated using Prussian Blue’s own special technology, creating a fin that delivers maximum efficiency and maximum propulsion. The blade length is 75 cm and the blade angle is 26°. A blade that is too long lowers kick efficiency and increases strain on the legs. Prioritizing efficiency and ease of handling, UMMY ONE combines a blade length that maximizes each kick with a 26° angle suited to every dive, whether moving horizontally at the surface or underwater or diving vertically, meeting the needs of many divers.
UMMY products must always be stylish. On UMMY ONE, the UMMY symbol mark is used in the blade tip and in the carbon lamination design on the reverse side. Combined with a blade cut perfectly balanced with that symbol, the result is a truly one-of-a-kind, beautiful fin.
The new X1 foot pocket from Prussian Blue is a work of art that perfectly balances ease of putting on, comfort and kicking feel. The foot pocket is soft and stretches very well, so you can generally wear the same size barefoot or with 2 mm socks.

FAQ
As these are made to order, it takes about 1.5 to 2 months (it may be sooner or later than that), so please order with plenty of time to spare. The white logo color type and the UMMY ONE Short have relatively shorter lead times and can often be shipped in about one month.
Size exchanges are possible, but in addition to the foot pocket fee, round-trip shipping to Taiwan is required. To avoid choosing the wrong size, we recommend using our foot pocket rental service.
Yes, exchanges are possible, although round-trip shipping to Taiwan is required.
Please choose your size using the EU and Japanese sizes as a reference. The foot pocket stretches well, so with 2 mm socks the same size will generally fit. If you are unsure, please use our foot pocket rental service. *Service available in Japan only
Blades are covered for 3 years from the date of order. Please be sure to keep your purchase information (order number and name). If a blade cracks or breaks through normal use, we will replace one pair free of charge. *As blades are sent to Taiwan, replacement may take 1–2 months. *Foot pockets and water rails are not covered by the warranty.
Returns and exchanges are accepted only if the item is defective or we sent the wrong item. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for customer reasons.
Carbon blades are light and powerful but also very delicate. Hitting rocks or coral can crack or break them, so please handle them with care. Also, never jump in from a boat wearing them, as the blades may break. After use, rinse them right away with fresh water and dry them in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
