Japanese wetsuit quality is among the best in the world. UMMY wetsuits are made in Japan from Japanese materials, crafted for you by skilled artisans. Feel the difference from other wetsuits for yourself.
CANDY uses Nestle jersey for the lining. It stretches about 40% more than ordinary jersey, and you will be amazed by its soft, fluffy texture and superb comfort.

UMMY × Mellow Side Story
UMMY had actually been planning wetsuits since 2022, before the brand even launched, and it took about three years to bring them to market. Without a factory of its own, UMMY negotiated, planned and developed with many wetsuit makers, struggling day after day because we couldn’t create a wetsuit that would truly move our customers. Then we fell in love at first sight with the innovative design of the wetsuits made by the surf brand Mellow, and UMMY’s heartfelt approach to them was the beginning of our partnership.
Mellow wetsuits stand out for their reliable, cost-effective made-in-Japan quality and innovative, stylish designs never before seen in the freediving industry. Above all, UMMY was moved by the flexible, energetic and passionate attitude of Mellow’s president, and formed a partnership with the company. By combining UMMY’s ability to deliver on customer needs with Mellow’s technology, we were able to create wetsuits that truly delight our customers.
January–August: about 1 month
September–December: about 1.5 to 2 months. We recommend ordering early with plenty of time to spare.
As these items are made to order, we cannot accept cancellations, returns or exchanges for customer reasons. Returns and exchanges are accepted only if the item is defective or we sent the wrong item.
Identification numbers are handwritten on each part of the lining. They fade with each use.
Alterations may be possible. Please let us know which part needs adjusting and by how many centimeters. (Paid service)
UMMY has an office on the main island of Okinawa where you can try them on and see the fabric colors in person. Visits are by appointment only, so please contact us if you would like to come.
