CANDY uses Nestle jersey for its lining. With about 40% more stretch than regular jersey, you're sure to be amazed by its fluffy softness, smooth feel and supreme comfort.
CANDY can be tailored to your needs: choose the wetsuit thickness (2mm or 3mm), whether to have finger holes on the sleeves, and one of 3 hip cuts, including one for those who prefer more coverage! The UMMY × Mellow side story
A wetsuit brand that sells directly from a factory with over 30 years of history, creating high-quality, fully custom-made products at low prices.
Committed to 100% domestic production in Japan, it is highly trusted for everything from materials to patterns and sewing.
UMMY had actually been planning wetsuits since 2022, before the brand even launched, and it took about three years to bring them to market. With no factory of its own, UMMY negotiated, planned and developed with many wetsuit manufacturers, but spent day after day frustrated that we couldn't create a wetsuit that would truly move our customers. Then we fell in love at first sight with the innovative designs of the wetsuits made by the surf brand Mellow, and UMMY reached out with a heartfelt proposal. That was the beginning of our partnership.
Mellow's wetsuits stand out for their proven quality and excellent value, made in Japan, and for innovative, stylish designs never before seen in the freediving industry. Above all, UMMY was moved by the flexible, energetic and passionate attitude of Mellow's owner, and decided to form a partnership. By combining UMMY's ability to deliver on customer needs with Mellow's technology, we were able to create wetsuits that truly move our customers.

As our products are made to order, we cannot accept cancellations, returns or exchanges for personal reasons. We accept returns and exchanges only if the item is defective or we sent the wrong item.
Identification numbers are handwritten on each panel of the lining. They will fade with use.
Size alterations may be possible. Please let us know which part needs adjusting and by how many centimeters. (Paid service)
UMMY has an office on the main island of Okinawa where you can try on wetsuits and see the fabric colors in person. Visits are by appointment only, so please contact us if you would like to come.
